There was a car decal on a window and it read, ‘Have a great day, Compliments of God.’ Whether or not it was the author’s original intent to convey, that is the reality and the realization that our loving Father wants us to wake up to each and every day.

Blessed child of God, Jesus in John chapter 10 called you His sheep. Not only are we His sheep, He knows us, He gives us eternal life, and no one shall snatch us out of His hand. (John 10:17-28)

What a comforting revelation of protection, provision and love.

But Jesus does not stop there. He says that because we are His sheep and we hear His voice, we are eligible to claim that which He came to give and He states what that is very clearly,

“I come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

So what can we expect in this abundant life? For that, we needs look at the person of Jesus.

Jesus says,

“I and My Father are one.” John 10:30

So from this, we see that by looking at who God is, will unveil who Jesus is.

So who is God? God reveals His name to Moses saying,

“I-AM-WHO-I-AM. Tell the people of Israel, ‘I-AM sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14

And when Jesus was in the world, He confirmed this triune nature of God when He told the Pharisees,

“Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58

So God is I AM. Jesus is I AM. What a beautifully simple yet complex and rich name. I AM. I AM your health. I AM your provision. I AM your protection. I AM…

Pastor Joseph Prince from Singapore calls this ‘Jesus’ blank check to us’ from God’s overwhelming, unfathomable and immeasurable treasure store in heaven. I AM.

I AM came to give you life more abundantly. Whatever you need for this life to make it more abundant, put it behind His name, I AM, because that’s what He came to give to you. Jesus tells us,

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” Matthew 7:7-11

This is the original 7-11! In Him you can find all things, open to you 24/7.

And just in case you think that with the good, bad things also come from God, read carefully,

“How much more will your Father who is in heaven give GOOD THINGS to those who ask Him!”

Have you cashed in your personal check from Jesus? Do you have a realization of how much Jesus wants you to have life and have it more abundantly? So have a great day today, compliments of God.
